I had made a reservation to stay at this B&B for Sept. 2006 and upon reservation I asked what the cancellation policy was. I was told that there would be no charge if I needed to cancel my reservation. Shortly after making my reservation I found out that my family's plans had changed and that we would not be able to stay at the B&B. I immediately called the B&B to let them know that we had to cancel and they said that was fine and did not say that I would be charged. I also cancelled my reservation more than a month before our scheduled stay. However, I got my credit card bill a couple weeks after we were to have stayed at the B&B and they charged me $203.50 without saying a word to me!! I called the B&B twice regarding this and left messages and I'm still waiting for a phone call from them. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company who was kind enough to credit me the amount to my account. I think this is really shady and I would not recommend... more
