Let me begin by saying that this is the only hotel in Oberlin. So unless you want to stay off campus, lower your expectations. Service was OK. But the rooms feel circa 1960-70s. Old, worn out. Not dirty, but not clean. With any competition, they would be out of business.

Tried the anniversary package, had a nice time. The property has aged but the staff is friendly and attentive. Dinner was very nice, the small college town atmosphere was pleasant. A nice area to take an evening stroll.

My wife and I stayed here for one weeknight. It's the only hotel in town, so it's a 5-star hotel in Oberlin. But here is where I lament the fact that we can't use half stars. This quaint little inn is steeped in history. Situated right in town, near great restaurants and the college. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Dining room is good. Shuttle to the Cleveland airport. Heating and air is tied into the college!

The only positive of the hotel is is downtown location. Rooms are outdated, small, and dirty. Additionally, the beds are really worn out and pillows are very very minimal. For the high prices they charge I would expect much more - disappointed.
