We're constantly struggling to strike the balance between being a "resort" hotel with a fully-functional cabana bar in the summer months with being a family-friendly hotel where some people value more of a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I stayed at this hotel for a family weekend trip to Cedar Point. It was a pleasurable stay and I would recommend it to others. It's very reasonably priced and located just minutes from cedar point. This is good basic accomodations in Sandusky in a good mid-level chain. Our room was clean. The beds were reasonably comfortable. I did not stay at this hotel, but dined in the restaurant Baci - it was fabulous! Ambiance and food was great and the server Felicia was absolutely delightful! And the dessert drink - Amazing! I look forward to dining there again!
