We traveled to Kalahari in Sandusky, Ohio for a cheerleading compeition. While the room rates seemed a bit pricey, it does include 4 passes to the indoor waterpark which would be about $22.00 per person if you didn't stay at property. We stayed for the Super saver sundays this month. This included a free breakfast buffet and four mini golf passes. The water park is huge and so much fun. We planned a trip to Kalahari for my sisters birthday. We bought day passes ahead of time. We drove 2 hours to get there. Upon our arrival we were told that they were at capacity and that we could not go into the water park. The website said that the waterpark opened at 10 but it really opened at 9.... More

The hotel was nice. The waterpark was huge and had alot of things to do. Great game room. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean and well kept. The staff was excellent. They were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the price and you have to walk alot. More

My sister in law and I stayed on Feb 8, 2012. We have stayed several times before. The water park itself was a little colder than usual. Went in the Wave pool first and the water was cold. The staff at this resort are all very friendly and service was very quick for getting extra items. Check in was very long but the desk staff were very friendly even though some guests were not very friendly to them. We had a King Lodge suite which was very nice and the kitchen was very well equipped for our stay.... More

“Great Customer Service = Great Stay!”

From the minute I drove up to to the minute I drove off you feel like you are the only guest at the resort. Food was very good, water park was clean, resort was very well maintained. Try to avoid a holiday weekend as the water park can be a bit crowded. More
