I had the occasion to stay here in late March, 2009. I had zero complaints about the hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The restaurant in the lobby of the hotel was decent, but mildly expensive. Wireless internet access costs $10/day. The workout room was well-equipped. more

We stayed a couple of nights in October 2006 and November 2006 and then stayed a WEEK in January 2007. We moved 1200 miles cross country from Texas to Ohio! We made this Marriott our home for a week! We have ZERO negative things to say! Very NICE Front Desk! Nice rooms etc.... more

The Marriott Cleveland East was an OK place to stay. It's close to the highway, close to a lot of stores and restaurants and centrally located to a lot of Cleveland suburbs. This hotel has received a lot of great reviews because it's new. It's "newness" is nice, however, this is one of the most visibly dusty hotels that I've... more

Visiting John Carroll college for a student orientation, which is located approx. 5 miles away without getting back on the highway, I was very pleased with this Marriott having stayed in many others for years. A beautiful spacious atrium-type lobby greets you as you enter, filled with plants and a large fountain in the center. The Rivercity Grille restaurant sits... more

This was my first time staying in this area and this hotel, from the other reviews, said this property was fairly new and nice and it is both new and nice. I was pleasantly surprised at the comfort of the room. Granted, it is a Marriott, so it is pretty typical, but featured nice new comfortable beds, cordless phone, nice... more

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel. The property is new and the rooms are well appointed for the price range, including bed furnishings more typical of a higher priced hotel. The fitness center was excellent. While the pool was a bit small, it was a nice change to be able to swim in Cleveland during December.... more

Hotel is just off interstate along with several other hotels and decent restaurants such as Houlihans. The two restaurants in the area of the Marriott are both Mexican - OK if you like Mexican but you need the car if you don't. Paid a few extras dollars for the room which gave free breakfast for all four of us on... more

My son's soccer team was partcipating in a tournament, which precipitated our team manager to arrange for our hotel stay. We could not have been more pleased with the choice. My husband and I had a room with a king, plus an adjoining room with two double beds. As the hotel is only a year or so old, everything was... more

My husband and I stayed here for one weekend night and really liked the hotel. Weekend rates are reasonable (we paid $119/night) but my husband said they're pretty high during the week so he won't stay there for business. There was a plate of chocolate chip cookies at check-in. Everything is still nice and new. The bed was super comfortable,... more
