First off, it is our mistake that we even stayed after checking in. We chose this place because we were on a long trip, it was after midnight, and our GPS showed it as the closest hotel with a "brand name".
The room had that instant "gross feel" it, and the carpet was damp. I told my wife it was probably just recently cleaned. The blankets on the bed all had burn marks and stains on them. When we went to complain... the office was locked! So we slept in our clothes. By light of day, the place was truly horrific. There were brown stains on the sheets, large parts of the blankets were actually burnt away, and I found the reason the carpet was damp. The shower was full of water from some backup... so we couldn't even wash the room's nastiness off of us. We have pictures of all of this. How can any company allow their name to be put on a place like this?
