The hotel was clean, the staff very nice. They had a beautiful reception area with coffee, cookies and milk at night, a computer, an indoor pool, we were able to walk to go eat supper, and a great tasting breakfast. We had never stayed at an AmericInn and we made the right decision in staying here. more

AmericInn of McAlester OK is located on US 69 across from the Wal-Mart & Lowes, behind the Arbys. The rooms are similar to most mid-priced chains. . . very clean; wired internet & WiFi access. My sister and I have met in Mcalester,OK for several years because it is a halfway point between she and I. We had always stayed at the same dingy hotel( because it had an indoor pool for the kids).
