Nice hotel - but expensive. We stayed in the comfort suites last year, and this was newer and nicer. Room had 2 queen beds, sofa bed, a little refrigerator, and a microwave. I don't know why the hotels are so expensive in this town. more

For some reason it's getting somewhat harder (little by little) to find motels that actually accept cash these days. If you pay cash here you will be required to leave a deposit with the front desk. Wonderfully clean, nicely decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wish all HI Express hotels could be this nice. We stayed in one in Hot Springs, AR, the next night and it was awful..dirty and beat up. This one in McAlester gets an A+++++ from me! more

The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable and include the all "fresh" bedding - lots of freshly laundered cotton sheets and pillowcases with no traditional blankets or bedspreads. Excellent place to stay. Customer service oriented staff who were very friendly when asked questions regarding area, restaurants etc. Terrific breakfast bar with great variety. Room was very comfortable, clean, quiet. I would highly recommend this motel to others if staying in the area. more
