We stopped here to spend the night while on our way home. After two hours, we left! The bedspreads and blankets were soiled and had cigarette holes in the blanket. The room had a very bad odor and so did the halls. Don't waste your money here. Spend the extra and go to La Quinta! more

The main problem with this place is that they allow pets, so we could hear a dog barking most of the evening and night. We traveled across country with 3 cats and a cockatiels and thought that Motel 6 was the only place we could stay so we have seen our fair share of Motel 6's. This one in Shawnee, though, I would put up against several other mid-range chains like La Quinta, Best Western, etc. The building is newer and was impeccably clean.... more
