The Mayo Hotel, the grand dame of Tulsa, is back.! Every room in this small hotel is a suite, with complete kitchen facilities. 52" flat screen in living room; nice bar with three bar stools, contemporary furnishings. 46" flat screen in bathroom. We recently stayed and saw a ballet in Tulsa. We arrived rather late, 1.5 hrs before the ballet is to begin. Very hungry a staff member took our food order placed it at the great hotel resturant while we changed and settled in our room. Need a quick getaway to Tulsa? Really, TULSA?? Tulsa, Okalahoma?? Yep! We have enjoyed visiting this beautiful downtown and can very highly recommend The Mayo Hotel downtown. Background: This was a surprise one-night trip to celebrate my husband's birthday and recent clear PET scan and lymphadenectomy.
