This hotel is conveniently located near I-84 on the edge of town. Numerous restaurants are in the area. The rooms appear to have been recently updated with new carpets, paint, and furnishings. The bed was very comfortable. Our king room was very spacious with a sitting chair and two comfortable office type chairs. The hotel has over 200 rooms scattered... more

The rooms are large and clean and the front desk was friendly. That said, this motel falls below standard for a Best Western. Furnishings are cheap...which isn't too bad, except the motel really skimped on the mattresses, which are hard and uncomfortable. Plus, in a day in which a complimentary breakfast is expected, this motel gives a dollar off coupon... more

My husband and I travel through this part of Oregon every year on the way to visit family. We have found the Best Western in Baker City to be the best hotel option in the area. The hotel is spread out a bit, so if you want a room near the pool area you had best ask for it at... more

We stay at Best Western all the time and this was above average for this chain of hotels. The rooms were nicer than expected, the staff was pleasant, and they were very helpful with finding a place to eat dinner. The only let down was that there was a restaurant on the premises so there was no continental breakfast in... more

We were traveling to Washington and stopped for the night in Baker City. The hotel was right off the interstate so it was very convenient for the traveler. It had a pleasant look to it and was fairly reasonable. The hotel staff was very friendly, and we found the room to be clean and quiet (a very big plus after... more

The motel is just off I-84 exit 304. The rooms have been updated since my last stay in '07. I had no problem keeping it at a comfortable temp. My 2nd-flr room was roomy, even with 2q beds; there was still room for a desk to do computer work. Wireless svc is provided. The bed was comfortable and supportive. The... more

Very convenient located hotel for those who have business in the Baker City area. Very professional and friendly staff looked like this was going to get a great rating from me. I just had stayed at the BW in La Grande where friendly service has never described my many stays there. The grounds are well kept and pretty; but the... more

We often book Best Westerns because they are pet friendly. This one had a modern clean and comfortable room at a reasonable rate. Different story in their Sonny's Grill restaurant where we had dinner. My wife's southwestern grilled sandwich was OK, but my prime rib wasn't. The vegetables were mush, the mashed potatoes had been sitting out long enough to... more

If you don't like maid service coming into your room at 8:30 am, can't sit outside on your balcony because the staff is smoking outside your room, or can't open your door because of the lawn mower or leaf blower being used below your room, then you probably don't want to stay here. Oh, I forgot to mention the cleaning... more

The bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very cheap. We felt like we had slept on the floor all night long. more
