We made a reservation for Mt. Bachelor as part of a major trip to Oregon/Cali, and Idaho. We followed the advice of theabominablesnowman and directly contacted the private condo owner via Craig's list (listed as 2 br-Mt. Bachelor Village Condo--owner's name is Kylie). She was very easy to work with; however, less than a week into our family's 2 1/2... more

I was a little hesitant to book a condo here after reading a few of the negative reviews on trip advisor. What I've learned in my traveling experiences and reading tons of reviews on this site is that it's really tough to please everyone and that each experience, and in the case of a condo resort, each room/condo is very... more

When I called the resort, they gave me the Orbitz rate even without booking through Orbitz, which was $50 less than the going rate. Property is right on a glorious walking trail along the Deschutes River, full of ponderosa trees, sage, wildlife, etc. Trail goes for several miles, apparently all the way to town and to Sunriver in either direction.... more

This was our first visit to Bend Oregon and we loved it. The area was beautiful and very diverse. If you like rivers waterfalls hiking, fishing skiing, relaxing then Bend is for you. I was impressed by the quaint older part of town mixed with the newer trendy eating and shopping spots like the Mill. Our Condo was newly remodeled... more

I stayed in a very cute loft condo in ski house 1, I know some people have said that their condo was out-dated but this one was very nice with brand new furniture and bedding. I booked it through a private owner through the internet and saved almost half compared to the rates the resort staff charges for the same... more

I have stayed in many, many resorts and topnotch hotels throughout the United States (Peabody, Memphis, Davenport, Spokane) Europe, Far East (Intercontinental, Australia, Japan)and Latin America. None had a more accomodating, friendly, professional staff that what I found at Mt Bachelor Village, I just cannot give them enough credit for how wonderful and accomodating the staff was and how they... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in September in one of the River Ridge condos. We loved our time here. The condo was spacious and well equipped. Very quiet, never heard any neighbors, only the sound of the rushing river. In the morning I would sit with my coffee by the huge windows looking down to the river, watching some... more

We stayed at the Mt. Bachelor Village for a conference from Sept. 19-23, 2007. We stayed in the condo units called the Ski Lodge rooms. The first room was a one-bedroom number 106. The room itself was okay, very outdated and dark. We stayed two nights in this room and then moved because of noise. We could hear the people... more

Our apologies to this traveler. Obviously we did not meet their expectations and that is unfortunate. Our condominimums are in the process of being completely renovated. While I believe that this travelers experience was unusual, it is not unusual for travelers to have different taste in bed comfortability, and personal decor. The wi-fi problem seemed to be corrected when the...

With the price of this resort so high, we figured it would be very updated and comfortable. Although we did not have a bad stay by any means the place was not nearly luxurious enough for the price. We had high expectations based on the price and there were many little things that dissapointed us. The beds and the bedding... more

My husband and I stayed here 8/15-8/19 in a River Ridge Condo. The condo had a well equipped kitchen w/a breakfast bar as well as a full size dining room table with seating for 4. Comfortable living room with a fire place, huge windows and plenty of seating. There was a door leading to the deck. The sink and toilet... more
