If you want to experience the Columbia River Scenic area, this is the place. If you want a wonderful B&B experience, you may be disappointed. The area around it is beautiful (especially if you have the back cabin). The rooms are small and the bath is even smaller. However, the location can't be beat if you are going to do... more

First off, the owner needs to learn the address! and how to give directions! Even the website has the wrong address. It is WEST Historic Columbia River Highway in Bridal Veil (the owner said it is East and in Portland). If you try entering it in a GPS, don't enter the West or East! After a long search for this... more

Our room was among the best ever in 25 years of B&B travels. It was spacious, dramatically beautiful, and wonderfully located for an adventure among the waterfalls of the Columbia Gorge. Our breakfasts were delicious and our hosts were delightful. We so hope to come again. more

This is a perfect location if you want to hike and see the many waterfalls in the area, which we did. You can walk right to Bridal Veil Falls in just a few minutes, and all the other falls are just a few miles away. Multnomah Falls is 3 miles away, and the perfect place for a delicious lunch or... more

If you're looking for lodging along the old historic Columbia Gorge highway through the area where there are the most waterfalls, this is it. Bridal Veil Falls is just across the highway and has 2 different hikes. (Warning, be careful crossing! Cars fly through here.) As the proprietor explained in an earlier posting, this is an old "auto lodge" dating... more

My husband and I stayed recently at Bridal Veil Lodge, and loved our stay. Everything in our cottage room was designed for comfort - the big window seat where you could stretch out to read a book, the soft yet firm bed, and even an in-room thermostat to control the temperature to our liking. There were fluffy robes, coffee maker... more

Was looking forward to staying in a historic lodge. Very disappointed to be placed in the more recent "cottage" with only limited access to the historic lodge which appears to be used primarily as a residence. Only for breakfast do you get to enter the front part of the lodge. The owners stated that they prefer that the clients stay... more

Because we are in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, regulations restrict us to two guest rooms. We have found that the cottage rooms are the overwhelming favorite of our guests, because of the natural setting, privacy, and ambience, so those are the ones most often booked for B&B guests (guests are informed when reserving where their room will...

Spent a couple of nights here in the summer of 2003. The rooms were beautiful, filled with memorabilia, clean and located in a lovely spot. Made to feel welcome in the house although breakfast was a little disappointing - not much of a choice ( French bread with syrup / pancakes) Nice for children too although we had to pay... more
