This RV park has a dynamite location nearly on the sand ..... but it is part of the Port of Brookings day use park. There is a one-way road that goes directly in front of the RV sites, with many parking places right in front. So instead of a deluxe, quiet RV park, the atmosphere is one of staying in a waterfront parking lot with full hookups! Additionally, on summer nights there tends to be a "party crowd" of kids who gather right in the parking lot and play loud music, etc. until about midnight. We have never experienced any problem with theft or other mischief at this park, even with the flow of non-RV'ers.

However, even with those drawbacks, this park has such a good location we always stay here when we are in this area. The sites are adequately wide; graveled with paved roads, big enough for big rigs. There are many paved places to ride bicycles, as this park connects with the marina. There are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
