This facility was selected based on Trip Advisor reviews and it was great. We stayed in the Skipper's Room facing the ocean and the views were wonderful. There were over a 100 resident birds, various varieties, right out in front. The location was great as it was within walking distance of town which is a real plus as parking is... more

We made a last minute decision to come to Cannon Beach based on a friends recommendation. They had stayed during the off season and paid much less. We booked for 4 nights thinking that might be to long, boy were we wrong. There are no fancy soaps or room service, no on site restaraunt or swimming pool. Who cares it's... more

For the first time, based on the reviews on Tripadvisor, things didn't match up. For $279.00, I felt that the value was not there. The Hotel was very conveniently located in the Village of Cannon Beach, close to everything, but after a nite in The Ocean Lodge, it was a let down. The room was very clean, but other than... more

A typical seaside motel, which is well located for the town centre and right on the beach and is very comfortable. The reservation was handled well and the staff were pleasant, couteous and helpful. We will return. more

stayed at hotel in June 2008 in a "double sloop" (2 double beds, behind wall separating kitchenette, living area with fireplace and deck). We were worried about noise given prior reviews - but had absolutely no issue with it, we were on top/2nd floor. Room was good size, kitchenette was well outfitted with toaster, coffee maker, cooktop, micro, fridge, plates,... more

I stayed 2 nights at this hotel, on the second floor and the view was oustanding. The room is very clean and situated in a clean and tidy manner. The price is a little high for what I like to pay ( 2 nights cost me $350 out the door). But for the location and overall feel of the room,... more

What a great experience!! We had this hotel recommended by a friend. When we called for reservations we were able to get the exact room style that we wanted. The location of the hotel cannot be any more perfect! Once you arrive you will never need to drive anywhere for the duration of your stay. The front common area is... more

We stayed here in May 2008. The location is right along the beach and is a block away from all the stores and restaurants along the main strip (hemlock ave). Parking here is easy considering all the rooms were booked out. You can walk to every where important in cannon beach, to all the stores and restaurants, the market, to... more

This property has a spectacular oceanfront location in Cannon Beach. Super convenient location to the village, shopping and restaurants. However, the actual accommodations are merely average and could do with some serious updating. The kitchen and bathrooms look like they are from the seventies. Comfy bed in spartan bedroom. Sofa bed was almost unusably soft. Staff are friendly and helpful.... more

I guess I should have paid more attention to the "complainers" of noise before booking a room. It seems those lucky enough to stay on the top floor (there's only two floors) have good things to say, but if you're unfortunate to stay on the bottom floor you better hope the person(s) above you are light walkers. From the second... more
