What a disappointment! The only two positives are that it's walking distance to the shops and the beach. Our cottage #4 was filthy. The couch and the carpeting were gross (actually beyond gross). This place is in need of a good cleaning and an update. I think if it was clean you might overlook the other shortcomings. I could feel... more

We stayed in one of the suites (room 11) in the Blue Gull. There was a living room downstairs with fireplace, couch, table (local wood art depicting haystack Rock), fridge, microwave, sink. Upstairs there were two bedrooms and three beds. So there is a good deal of room in this suite for extra persons. We arrived in a heat wave... more

we were in 5A and enjoyed our stay. the room was a little tight, but for cannon beach it was a good value. the room had a single and a double bed along with a mini-fridge, microwave, t.v. and free wi-fi. we loved how you were steps away from the beach and right down the street from ecola park. also,... more

We stayed here for a few nights this summer. The location pretty much can't be beat (unless you pay for an oceanside room, I guess)-- it really is steps to the beach, and a nice not-too-far walk to Haystack Rock. We stayed in one of the spa cottages-- so the bathroom is huge and the spa was great (I think... more

Cottage at first glance, appeared ok as far as clean, not spotless, but ok. Then started to look around and very clean. The room we slept in had two giant boogers on the nightstand..I almost threw up! There were piles of dirty kleenex in the nightstand drawer. The toilet leaked all over the floor. The bathroom was not clean, either.... more

I stayed in room 7 and was told it had recently been remodeled. I didn't see any of the other rooms so I can't compare but, I was VERY happy with my room. Cute, spanish furnishings, coffee, popcorn, tv and a dvd player. There are free tea bags in the office and dvd's you can check out for free also.... more

Pray when you get here, that you will survive the first night! For a long weekend/family reunion we rented 6 units between 20+ people. Most had no working smoke detectors, and some had none at all!! These were very old units with outdated wiring and damp, dank conditions. Our unit had food under the furniture, mold on the walls, old... more

Hotel is average for the area, however it is very clean, and quiet...I guess I was most disappointed in the fact that the bed was in very much need of replacement. Location is very very good with good beach access. Overall, I may even stay there again for a peaceful night if you do not expect too much...It is a... more

We stayed here for two nights with our two teens. Check in was fine, accomodations were clean and spacious although the jacuzzi tub was a waste of space (the water heater isn't big enough to accomodate filling the tub with hot or even warm water). We used the outdoor grill two nights in a row and saved quite a bit... more
