We were attracted to the hotel because we got to see our room photos on the web site before we arrived. The photos did not lie our room was spectacular. Very clean, big bath tub, comfortable bed, expensive linins, soft towels, and a gas fireplace. The staff was five stars with a charming small town easy about them. Even the... more

We stayed here for two nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is really close to the beach and although other people mentioned noise from the street, we didn't have a problem. We stayed in #6, had a queen bed, TV & DVD player (there are movies for you to borrow from the hotel), a gas fireplace, and small... more

I was a little overwhelmed when I started researching hotels in Cannon Beach, but I went with the Cannon Beach Hotel because it sounded small and intimate, with the New England style that I like, and reasonably priced. The room we stayed in was #2, with a fireplace, queen-sized bed, and bathroom with stand-up shower and rain showerhead. The room... more

We had a reservation at anothe b and b in the area for memorial day weekend. When we arrived, they were closed. We were told by the innkeeper that we were supposed to be notified, but we never were. We called many places in the area, and luckily found the Cannon Beach Hotel. They had a very, very nice room... more

My wife and I recently stayed at the Cannon Beach Hotel (CBH). The hotel has 8 rooms and is attached to a small restaurant. The lobby is typically staffed from 8 AM - 10 PM with the staff being pretty helpful. We had room #3 - a large room upstairs. Being a corner room - it bordered Hemlock (main road... more

Highly recommend this place. Booked it myself. Check in staff were very nice and friendly. Loved the location. Room was clean and neat, we had everything we needed. Dinner was great at the Bistro and the 10% given to us as hotel guests was a pleasant surprise. We had the crab cakes and they were great (actually they were a... more

I stayed here last week and I loved the hotel! It has such a quaint feel to it and makes you feel like you're somewhere in Europe. The front desk staff was friendly and social. I especially enjoyed Ben. He was charming! The breakfast basket was perfect to get you up and going for the day. We will definatly be... more

As a few others have mentioned here, the Cannon Beach Hotel is distinctly uneven. What at first appears to be a charming, New England-type, small inn (8 rooms on 2 floors), at further inspection shows some serious flaws. We stayed here for 3 nights in July '07 for an anniversary getaway, paying a premium (over $165/night) for only what could... more

We stayed here for just one night in early May 2007. The property is lovely and though not right on the beach a very short (2 -3) minute walk. As I said, the property is quite attractive. Warmly furnished, small homey type feeling place. I think we had one of the smaller rooms though it was fine for 1 or... more

We arrived in Cannon Beach after a great stay in a house in Oceanside and decided this restaurant could be worth it, since the hotel is historic. Well, my exotic seafood salad was nothing more than some bay shrimp and very few scallops and a lot of lettuce. My husband had two crab cakes (which tasted mightily funky) and a... more
