I enjoyed my stay at Surfsand. I made my reservation on the phone and they were very friendly. When we checked in, they were friendly and helpful as well. We brought our dogs and they had the dog goodies (beds, bowls, towels, treats) waiting in the room. The room was nice and very clean. I was just a little disappointed... more

We went to this hotel twice this Summer with two different groups of people. Hotel is wonderfuly appointed and clean (this was its greatest asset). Found the second trip easier as we knew what we doing in regards to fires on the beach etc. The first trip nothing was explained to us and we had to ask other hotel guests.... more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at the SurfSand in Cannon Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Despite some of the negative reviews about the beachfront eye level rooms on tripadvisor...we went ahead and booked one of these rooms and were not disappointed. recently spent 2 nights here & splurged on an ocean front suite. our views were incredible of the beach & Haystack Rock. Beach is beautiful & wide, and you can see it from the bathroom shower !!! we did not experience any of the noise issues that some other posts have mentioned, in fact they show 9PM-9AM as quiet time... more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was located overlooking the beach. We felt so sorry for the people in rooms looking at the parking lot.
