We tried to get into Seven Feathers hotel for one nite but they had just sold out. They suggested we stay at the Valley View Motel/Inn? which was run by the Band, used the same housekeeping staff etc. We were skeptical but when we drove by the landscaping of this little, old motel was perfect. It's an old fashioned motel, located on the river in a picturesque setting. We were greeted with enthusiasm and since the rate at $44 was half of Seven Feathers, we registered, room unseen. It was like a blast from the past or a vacation cabin from the 50's. Immacculate, comfortable beds, six windows in our Unit 5, fridge, microwave and cable TV. We had asked if there was coffee in the room upon which the office provided us with a coffeemaker, real mugs, coffee, tea etc in a wicker basket. The room was quiet, and was patrolled at night by the Seven Feathers security patrol. They also have shuttle service to the casino. If you don't mind shower only, I really recommend this place.
