We (husband, wife and two four-legged "kids") just returned from the second of what we hope will be our annual summer trip to Barking Mad Farms ("BMF"). Enterprise is located in an area of outstanding scenery and outdoor recreational opportunities. You can read about that elsewhere, though, so I'll focus on BMF here. First off, Diana and Hunter are the... more

Let me start right off with the down side: Leaving is very hard, even our dog was depressed. It is just one of those places where time stands still and the rest of ones life drifts off into some remote and near forgotten place. We booked five nights at Barking Mad for our anniversary. After driving for ten hours we... more

With just a few days to 'get away and relax,' we had no idea how refreshing our weekend at the Barking Mad Farm would be! My husband and I were welcomed like old friends, but had complete privacy in a gorgeous room with skylights over the bed, and views of the fields and mountains surrounding every side. Diana's amazing breakfasts... more

Accommodations were first rate, and the hosts were very personable, helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfasts. All their dining and other recommendations were spot-on. On top of that, Barking Mad B&B is located in an absolutely beautiful part of the country. One important note: the Seven Devils suite which we were in does have a long and fairly steep outside staircase... more

Barking Mad Farm is a great place for a relaxing vacation. The rooms were comfortable, well-furnished and immaculate, even with frequent 4-legged visitors. Breakfast was unique and delicious each morning. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts and evenings on the porch visiting with our wonderful hosts and the other guests. We stayed for a week and plan to go back as soon... more

Diana and Hunter have created a very special place that is one of the nicest properties I've ever visited. They are lovely people first and foremost and their hospitality is "just right"....not too little and not too much. I visited with my mother and her Boston Terrier Gracie and they were as welcoming to Gracie as they were to us... more

What a relaxing and rejuvenative stay. It’s cliché and totally unoriginal to say this, but we honestly felt as comfortable here as we do at home – and so did our dog. Breakfast was gourmet, hearty and delicious. Accommodations were upscale but not pretentious, and the interior of the farmhouse is beautiful, with gleaming dark wood floors. We will be... more

We have stayed at Barking Mad Farms at least a dozen times in the past few years and think it is one of the best B&B's in the US. Our favorite room has its own access with views of the fields and mountains. We have stayed there in the summer and winter and found the room to be completely cozy... more

We took our terrier to BMF in March for a long weekend. We had great accomocations and good tips from our hosts - Hunter and Diana. We have been to the Enterprise area a number of times in the past and this was by far the best. Comfortable beds, happy dogs and the best french toast ever! more

Yes, this place has gorgeous scenery and is in an idyllic setting, but there are drawbacks. The owner, Diana, asked us to call on the road and give her an ETA. When we were about 6 hours out, we called, and she aked if she had previously informed us that there were steep stairs to our outside room. (No, she... more

Sometimes, even with the best of intentions in trying to describe one's property both on line and on the phone, there is a bad fit. Sometimes, the weather doesn't cooperate and sometimes expectations are not met despite our best intentions. Taking five elderly and/or sick pugs and their owners during a heat wave was obviously one of those unfortunate times!...
