My family and I stayed at the Hilton during a recent reunion trip to Eugene. We were extremely satisfied on all fronts. The value for money can't be beat, and the location is so convenient. The property has been updated relatively recently so the rooms are spotless and well-appointed. The restaurant was also surprisingly good, especially breakfasts. The service was... more

I booked through priceline and stayed here for two nights at about 1/3 the rack rate. If I had paid $159/nt for this hotel, I'd be a little disappointed. But I didn't, so it was a great value. Sure, it's an older property and it's kinda beat up in places. The hardware for the sliding door leading to the 2'x14'... more

We've stayed in the finest hotels in San Francisco, but our night on the Honors floor at the Hilton Eugene rivaled the best of them. First, the rooms are lovely with those wonderful Pacific Coast featherbeds and pillows - I went right home and ordered them for all our beds. The room appeared picture perfect, with a place for everything... more

i have stayed at the Eugne Hilton many times. I can't beleive some of the reviews here. The rooms are very nice, beautiful bedding and furnture. By some of the reviews, its like the train is right out your window, the trains are maybe 2-3 blocks, I NEVER hear the trains. Check is so fast and all employees are helpful,... more

As the title says, my stay at this hotel was less than positive. I stayed at the Eugene Hilton for three nights in January 2008, on the Executive floor at roughly $160 a night. I had booked my room via Hilton.com, which was a relatively smooth experience, as was check-in at the hotel itself. However, the packet I was given... more

Our stay at the Eugene Hilton was fine because we booked through Priceline and got a good rate. As per other reviews, this is an older property but has great downtown location. However, even the hotel web site rates are not exorbitant compared to typical city Hilton prices. Our standard room was smallish but with nice bedding and it was... more

This place was very disappointing for the price. The front desk people were somewhat rude upon check in, and not very knowlegable about the area. Our room on the sixth floor was OK..but we found later in the day that we didn't have very hot water. The room did not feel very clean however.. I called the front desk..and they... more

We stayed on the 11th floor Executive level and our room was just fine; no signs of aging whatsoever. In regard to staff, the service was great. We used the restaurant and room service and both were courteous and timing was great. The only thing I would suggest in that area is to teach the coffee staff how to make... more

We stayed here one night. The staff was very good. The room was not so great. The bathroom smelled and wall paper in the room was beginning to peel at places. The air conditioning kept making odd noises throughout the night and kept me from sleeping. When checking out, we alerted the staff of these problems. They refunded about 50%... more

I stayed here on Ocotber 2006 and August 2007. Both times, my experiences were not very good. I find this hotel to be below average, and not worthy of the Hilton brand name. I am a Hilton Honors Gold Member, so I was given rooms on the "executive floor" (10 and 11) Bad: Only three very small elevators. The second... more
