I know they are trying to go for the historic artsy feeling, but this place was kind of a dump. People really are in no hurry to do anything around there. Breakfast was 2 hrs and lunch was 2 hrs. Do yourself a favor, spend the extra 10 bucks and stay in the best western next door. more

I love the McMenamin brothers. They make good food, they brew great beer, and they take old buildings and turn them into something awesome and new. I was dissapointed with the Grand Lodge. My wife and I have stayed at McMenamins Edgefield many times, but wanted to try the Grand Lodge. This is a beautiful propety that used to be a retirement home for the Masons.
