Phil and Nancy have a great place for you to experience a working ranch there in Fossil. We stayed for three days of relaxation, horseback riding, and fossil hunting. The rooms were comfortable- air conditioning in upstairs room was a little inadequate but we managed until the evening when we opened windows and let the cool air in. I especially... more

We have stayed at the ranch 3 times. When we went back we were treated as returning children of the family. Phil holds court at the breakfast table each morning. He is wealth of knowledge about the area history and geology. The Horseback rides are not your typical tourist nose to tail rides of the typical guest rides. The horses... more

We (a couple in our 50's from Ireland) stayed at Wilson Ranches for two nights in mid Sept 2008. The house has seven bedrooms, of which two have their own bathrooms.
