The pictures were very misleading!!! My husband and I were barely able to stay the full night there. We were put in the oldest part of the Hotel. The room was dirty, the light came through the window and you could hear people walking above you, water running and all kinds of noise! We could'nt get out of there soon... more

We stayed in the older portion of the hotel. The room was very dated in appearance, but still had a TV, a "frige", and coffee maker. The sink was not in the restroom but on the counter outside where the coffee maker sat and the mini fridge was under. The bed was not comfortable and the sheets / spread were... more

Betty from Carstairs, Alberta, Canada We stayed in a room with an ocean view and it seemed like home. The room was spacious and set up in a manner to make you feel you were home. The ocean view made you want to walk dowm to the water and relax. The staff were extremely courteous and wanted you to stay... more

The room was large enough. the staff was nice. I felt that it was a little overpriced for what we got. However, we arrived early, and our room was not ready. Housekeeping started on our room immediately and were finished in about 45 minutes. The area is just not what I expected. more

This hotel gives you choices. If you're looking for cleanliness and economy they have a room to match your pocketbook. If you're looking for an ocean view and a short walk to the beach it's yours for a tad more of your hard-earned money. If you're a value buyer that wants a first-class room that you'll be happy with, this... more

Stopped in to look at some rooms, new renovation, upgrading existing structure. Nice staff, too casual in attire (too tight camisole with bra straps showing), non-professional conversation with former employee there to pick up final check (should I know that?), muffins stored in cardboard box on lobby floor. I looked at the best condo that they had. Nice concept, poor... more

I read the reviews on TripAdvisor.com and booked this hotel to cap off our wedding anniversary. When we finally reached Gold Beach after driving over 6 hrs down the Oregon coast, we were expecting to stay in a resort. The place turned out to be a very cheap looking motel. Their website is slick, but the photos are misleading. The... more

My husband and I stayed in room 223 in the newer building, right by the beach. The room was splendidly appointed, with a very large TV and sliding doors to the balcony. There was just one little hitch; The wooden bedposts, hidden by a very plush comforter, had edges on them that smashed our legs every time we walked by.... more

We were planning to stay for couple of days but ran away after 1 day. Horrible place. It is NOT A RESORT.. IT IS A MOTEL... They should just call it that.... Place looks like a cheap MOTEL. Hated it. Photos on website are for newer rooms but they do not tell you at time of booking. HORRIBLE PLACE will... more

Stayed here on a trip up the coast. The Pacific Reef as two options, condos that face the beach or the old motel. The motel doesn't have a view. We stayed in the old motel portion, which was much less expensive. For an overnight stay the motel did the trick. The room was spotless and had a TV with a... more
