My wife and I stay here because it is near our daughters home. Nice large rooms. Only complaint is the breakfast. Each time we stay there is alittle less offered. The last time cereal, white bread, waffel, coffee and juice. No fruit or protein. Don't state you are serving breakfast, if that is all you offer.

this one is ok as far as old HJ hotels go ,, the room was clean enough ,everything worked as it is supposed to ,water-heat-tv-lights the price was a little higher than I usually pay when so little is offered for a "Continental breakfast"

We stayed in room 201 the only smoking king size room. It smelled so bad I think it was the only smoking room in the whole motel. The carpet was dirty, the blankets had cigarette burns in them. all was fine, except for the poor breakfast offered. Returned for the night and card key didn't work, made a trip to front office and was handled fast and well.

The Howard Johnson in Gresham is old and tired, but clean. We stayed there Sept. 9, 2012. It is a no frills, cheap place to stay. The towels were worn out and one had holes in it. This motel was conviently located for our over-night stay before driving up the Columbia River. The staff was very helpful, and friendly. The room was clean and large, also very quiet. There is a very good coffee shop/diner across the parking lot and a Starbucks across the street. Basic continintal breakfast included in rate.
