My husband and I stayed for a lovely fall weekend in mid-October. The hosts were friendly and accommodating and the property is very well maintained.
When I made my reservation, I inquired about the suitability of having my daughter's family join us there as I have grandchilden who are 6 and 3 years old. I have stayed in many B&B's, but never one that included children . Although I was a bit hesitant as I know how kids can be, the hosts insisted it would be fine and said they were grandparents themselves. Our family booked all three rooms which eliminated imposition on other guests.
The rooms were not the over-the-top "lacey fou-fou" so many B&B's do, but were spotless, and tastefully decorated utilizing treasures from their family's collection of antique airplane items and photos. Locally made bath toiletries were provided as well.
