Truly a special place, we enjoyed our stay at Villa Columbia two years ago and this September again. Everything was perfect: the location, the views, the room and the host. Our breakfast included lots of fresh fruit, local products and delicious coffee. We stayed at the White Salmon room and the room was very comfortable and cozy. We loved it... More

If you're looking for a spacious room with a view of the beautiful Columbia River, look elsewhere. The best thing about this location is that it's within walking distance of downtown Hood River and some great restaurants. It is not, however, the best place for viewing the river. Our feeling is that the owners have maximized the number of rooms... More

We enjoyed our stay in Hood River very much. The B&B was very comfortable and Boba was very helpful. We stayed in the deschutes room (2 adults and 2 kids). We fit ok but it was nice to have the other sitting rooms throughout the house. The breakfast views were beautiful! We white water rafted with Wet Planet- great group... More

Nice b&b within walking distance to town - very homey and comfortable! There was a bit of road noise during the night which woke us around midnight - there seemed to be lots of diesel trucks, probably belonging to other tourists! The best breakfast of our trip to the Columbia River Gorge area was the reward though... More

We stayed here for a weekend getaway and enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Villa Columbia. Boba was a wonderful host, helping us with our plans for the weekend and beyond! She was very accommodating and made delicious breakfasts--her vegetarian adaptations were wonderful! The B&B itself was very clean and inviting, and in a great location close to... More

Breakfast were delicious and ample. Boba is an outstanding hostess. She guided us to great sites and kept us away from those that weren't so good. It's near great restaurants and all the hiking you can imagine. We loved it there. More

Spent two nights here while attending a wedding at Hood River Organic (apple) Farm. The B&B is on one of the streets further up the hill, so several rooms overlook the Columbia River. Ours was one of them and the view did not disappoint. Large windows in the comfortable seating area exposed the gorgeous vista. We didn't need A/C since... More

All the comforts of home and then some: lovely location with river view, comfortable rooms, wonderful bathrooms with everything you need incl. makeup remover towels and bath robes. European-style rich and varied breakfast. An innkeeper who knows all about the area and is really interested in giving her guests a good time. More

The Villa Columbia is conveniently located so that you can walk to all the best restaurants in town. But it is still quiet and away from the busy downtown. We loved the gourmet breakfasts and the innkeeper was wonderful in answering all our questions about the area. We stayed in the Columbia River Room and the view is wonderful of... More

My Husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, it was immaculate! We stayed in the Pinnacle, which was extremely spacious and cozy! The staff were welcoming, friendly and warm. The location of the property could not have been better, the view was breathtaking, just so peaceful. A great get-away!! We cannot wait to go back!!! More
