We arrived to find a message on the chalkboard advising us to come in and make ourselves at home. We never did meet the owner and the neighbor taking care of things wasn't able to locate a key for our room ($125). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was spacious and very clean, and very homey. The hosts encouraged us to make ourselves "at home", which we did. Breakfast was wonderful, the grounds were gorgeous with a great view, overlooking mountains and vineyards. It was a very "low key" place , which we prefer, and we will definitely be back. more

This was the worst hotel/bed and breakfast experience we have ever had. The owner was gone during our visit, but someone else did greet us when we arrived. However, when we returned after going out to dinner a couple hours later the front door was locked and we had to go through the back slider door to let ourselves in.... more
