These notes were jotted down immediately following our stay so I wouldn't forget:
As soon as you walk in, the lobby and adjoining dining room seem large and bright and inviting, and it is because of the enormous skylight above. It makes an excellent first impression!
Our ground floor room was U-shaped so it seemed spacious and more homelike than the usual box- or L-shaped room. It had a nicely-appointed kitchenette which was an unexpected surprise. The queen bed had crisp sheets and was topped with a gold brocade spread. There was a barrel-shaped cushioned chair to place in front of the TV, a round table w/2 chairs, free wi-fi, etc. The walk-in shower was really cool (maybe it was an accessible room). Everything was very clean.
I can't remember the name of the Mexican restaurant that we ate at that night. It is the only one in town and is next door at the Best Western Skyline. My notes indicate that our choices were delicious and plentiful but pricey for...
