I spent two nights at the Budget Inn while conducting a one-day seminar. This is an older property, but not dilapidated. No free breakfast, no gym, no pool, but if you need a place to stay for the night, it provides that basic motel function perfectly well.

The bed was comfortable, the TV worked fine with about 50 channels, the shower also worked properly. There was a small fridge and a microwave. Room was clean and housekeeping did a good job.

Parking was right outside the room. Motel is located at one end of town, close to restaurants, gas stations, and a supermarket. It is a block off highway 395, so no annoying traffic noise.

The only drawback was you couldn't charge long distance calls to your room, and the collect call option was not working, so I had to go to Safeway and buy a pre-paid phone card to call home.

If you don't need a fancy hotel, this place should prove to be an acceptable place to stay. more
