The place was shabby and run-down, but the ocean view from our room was lovely. Asked for smoke-free and the room stank something awful. We kept the windows open the entire time, damn the heating bill. I would've complained but we won a free trip from a radio station including dinner and the show. Dinner at the Rogue was surprisingly... more

After reading several reviews I thought 'it really can't be that bad', I was wrong. The room was clean and had a great view but that was about it. As others have noted this place is in serious need of updating. Even a little maintenance would be good. There was garbage and debris piled up in the vestbule in front... more

We hoped that things would change when the Casino bought this place, and maybe they have a plan to update this property. We've stayed in the beautiful Indian Casino hotels in Myrtle Creek and Florence, so were anticipating some improvement. In the meantime, the physical property is in desperate need of maintenance and repair. As other reviewers stated, nothing has changed... more

the title says it all. i can not believe this place charged 180 per night for what looked like a room from the movie "psycho". very dirty rooms, 1970's decor, and no A/C. yea that's right no A/C. come on people this is 2009 and to charge near $200 per night, ridiculous. i would give it a "0" rating if... more

Since this was a hotel connected to a casino I did not research it. The room was large, the view spectacular, falling asleep to the sound of the surf wonderful. The screen was broken, the wall below the window had water damage, the carpet was old and felt dirty. The bed was just barely ok comfort wise but the bedding... more

This place was almost $250 for the night and If I had seen it before I booked it I wouldn't have stayed there if had been free. FILTHY, OLD, DISGUSTING. It looked like it hadn't had ANY maintenance since it had been built 10-20 years ago. I took the sheet off the bed the next morning and put it on... more

This is an old motel and the housekeeping staff does the best they can for the shape the rooms are in. Much need of updating rooms - maybe one section at a time. The food at the Chinook Winds seafood Grill was good in the past but the last few times we stayed, it wasn't. Good access to beach &... more

The hotel is very nice and the beach view rooms are spacious but there is VERY little accessibility for handicapped customers except in Building D rooms numbered 100 on the beach view area only. All other rooms have no ramps and customers must climb stairs to get to the rooms. The desk clerk girl did not even know about the... more
