Very quirky, fun hotel; however, the room we were in was so tiny that we the door hit the bed when we opened it, so we had to do some manuevering just to get in. I don't regret staying there because it's fun to be able to drink at the bars and listen to the music and walk back to... More

I was really excited to stay at this famous hotel. It is very unique, part of the McMenamins chain. Amazing art throughout, cool concept and had high hopes. Unfortunately I was disappointed and just didn't enjoy my stay. My room was dirty, tiny and so stuffy I couldn't sleep. There are no screens on the window so you can't get... More

Staff is rude gets mad at guests when we asked them questions they got snotty and were very rude to us. The hotel is very loud and there are lots of drunk people running around the halls. This is my first and last stay here. Rooms are not as nice as they should be for the price either. If they... More

Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry to hear that our staff was rude to you during your stay. Rudeness to our customers is unacceptable and against our company values. I will be sending you a private message to get more details, and I assure you that this will be addressed immediately. If you are more comfortable speaking... More

Our 2nd stay at this hotel. Perfect place to be for visiting Oregon's famous Pinot Noir wine country. Nestled in the middle of wine country and located in McMinnville's historical downtown (think Mayberry!). On a scale of 1 to 10 for creativity, I give the hotel a 15. Upon checking in, the place exudes magical creativity at every turn. From... More

We stayed one night over a weekend. The place books up (only has 40 something rooms) so we were stuck with a queen room which utilizes "European" facilities. Meaning a bathroom everyone on the floor shares. The rooms are very small, but cozy. Ours consisted of a bed, a sink, two lamps a phone & an armoire. Not even a... More

If you can handle walking up 4 or 5 flights of stairs (I have yet to be there when the elevator is working), the tables on the rooftop are fantastic on a mild summer day. I say mild, because on the hot late-July and August days, it can be a little too warm up there. Some of the tables have... More

What a delightful hotel! I find heritage hotels few and far between in the North West but this one was simply idyllic. We had a great stay and didn't mind using the European bathrooms one bit. Location was terrific too.

Hotel Oregon is truly one of a kind. The location is great, eat at the Ccrescent cafe down the block and red fox bakery right next door. Chicken coop truck is very good also and very close to hotel. Also Serendipity right across the street( ice cream!) Other than location we liked the rooms, were cozy, comfy and clean. My... More

My husband and I stayed on a Saturday night. The staff was very good, but the walls in the room were "paper thin"! I guess this is one of the best hotels McMinville has to offer but I unfortunately will not be back.

We didn't think we would need reservations in the middle of the week in October, but seems you need them for this charming hotel. We were lucky to be able to stay one night. The walls are hand painted with lovely murals, decorated in antiques (or darn good replicas) but unlike a lot of older hotels, I was not cold... More
