This Hampton ranks up there with the nicest Hamptons - newer, modern, very clean, even smells nice! The staff was friendly, and my king room was huge and immaculate. I recently booked a room at the Windmill Inn across the street but the room was unsatisfactory (some type of masking air freshener or carpet cleaning odor in both the first room and then an alternate room that was assigned to me). This is a clean, quiet hotel sandwiched between several strip malls and apartment complexes. What it lacks in neighborhood charm, the hotel makes up for in its close proximity to I5 and Highway 62. These are the main arteries to Ashland and Crater Lake. This location makes for an ideal jumping-off point for day trips to both of these destinations.... more
