“Overbooked - reservation cancelled out from under us”

Made a reservation a month in advance via their website. . . got a confirmation. . . then, just a few weeks before our trip, we received an email from the hotel saying that we should call Wyndham customer service because they were overbooked and did not have a room for us. . . ridiculous. The Booking was done by the wyndham website. It was due to some unknown error on the website. Wyndham is still doing research on this issue as off when this response is posted. Sorry for the mistake. We the property owners will compensate 50% off of the next stay on this property to this guest. Error on the booking site... More

I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Newberg for graduation ceremonies at George Fox University. We had a King room and enjoyed it very much. We are extremely sorry for the guest,s experience. Hotel.com/expedia clearly told the undersigned that there was no mention of pet when she made the reservation. Since the hotel did not have a pet room which is non- smoking the property could not give her non smoking room where the pet is allowed. Apart from the above the customer was abusive... More

My family stays here every few months. We love staying here. We have tried a few other hotels in the Newberg/McMinnville area and we always enjoy this one the best.
