I stayed two nights post fourth of July at the Hallmark Inn. We had a ground floor room and the view was amazing. We also had an end unit near the steps down to the beach. I am not sure why but we had people congregate there many times during our stay thus leaving a lack of privacy that I... more

I was a little apprehensive when we first arrived at the Hallmark Inn. It looked okay from the outside but once we stepped inside we were very impressed! The staff was wonderful! They upgraded us to a suite on a higher level to my surprise. It had amazing ocean view and a wonderful balcony to relax on! The room was... more

Check in was easy, the help was friendly. We stayed in a Balcony Queen, it was clean. I think it was a room that wasn't updated yet. Furniture was worn and abused, trim was missing. The timer to the heat lamp didn't work as a timer, just as a on/off switch. The one thing I would insist on being changed...... more

This is our favorite hotel to stay at. Clean, awesome views, and the restraunt next door has great food. It's just a flight of stairs down to the beach. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. The price for what you get can't be beat. more

I had stayed in the Hallmark at Cannon Beach several times and always enjoyed it so I had no hesitation in selecting a hotel when we went to Newport. Unfortunately, it didn't work out so well. First, the good stuff. As others have noted, the rooms are on the small side (we had a Queen with fireplace) but ours was... more

Needed a place to stay heading up the Oregon coast and researched the web. Found the Hallmark and liked what I saw. If you book here, book early and look deeper into the web site for a Queen, partial ocean view. Received a second floor room at the end of the building.... ie no rooms adjoin on any wall. We... more

You can't beat the location: right on the beach, with an ocean view from the room. Our room was clean with a microwave and mini fridge. The room was also large enough to accommodate a travel crib for our baby. There is a good sized patio too. Outside there are paths down to the beach, with footwashing stations near the... more

Stayed one night here after spending one night next door at the Shilo. We changed hotels for a number of reasons. At the Hallmark, we had a pet friendly standard room. The view was great and the room was clean. We appreciated the pet pack and sturdy pet waste bags that were provided on the way down to the beach.... more

We stayed in room 235 - it was on the first floor and a walk out. We booked a room at Hallmark Resort during the annual Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. During the Festival, there was a shuttle stop close to Hallmark. Also, the hotel provided two (2) wine glasses for their hotel guests. We had the room for one... more
