This is now my favorite B&B in NW Oregon. It's a lovely house about 10-15 minutes outside Hood River on rt. 35 toward the mountain. We stayed in the Orchard Room, which is surprisingly spacious - although it does not have a mountain view, this would probably be my room choice if and when we return. The room (and entire... more

This place was, without doubt, the most wonderful B&B I've ever stayed at. The views of Mt Hood were spectacular - even from the outdoor jacuzzi!! The 'Orchard Room' where my wife and I spent the week, was huge and very well equipped with en suite whirlpool bath and shower, as well as our own fireplace. It even had a... more

The Mt Hood B&B is a little piece of heaven on the northern flank of Mt Hood. There is 4ft of snow there right now and our cabin (The Homestead) had snowdrifts up to the roof which lent it a very romantic air. We stoked up the wood stove and rocked in the wicker rocking couch as we listened to... more

We were able to get a last minute reservation at the Hamlet and Paul got us all ready to go and gave us all the instructions and attractions of the region. The Hamlet itself is extremely clean and well decorated. Its cozy and warm ambiance is very welcoming and relaxing. It is like we stayed at a family or friends'... more

I cannot say enough nice things about this B&B. The owners are fabulous. They have thought of everything - loaner coolers to pack a lunch, maps to out of the way little lakes, assortment of teas and coffees in a self service station if you want something warm after hours. I could go on and on. I had a wonderful... more

We had a charming room and great breakfast. Owners were very friendly and gave us lots of tips on where to go and what to do. This is a property that was specifically built to be a B & B. They have 4 rooms and all were nicely decorated and furnished. We normally avoid B & B's because they are... more

This is a wonderful place to stay for a romantic night. The house is very large and has plenty of room to relax, from a library with fireplace to a nice outdoor porch. The house was built to maximize the fantastic views of Mt Hood. Our bedroom had big windows and laying in bed Mt Hood completely filled the windows.... more

I'm a typical guy.... Do we have to stay at a B&B ?... Well,as the title says, I'm a convert. The Hood Hamlet is a wonderful experience if you like beautiful views, clean spacious, charming rooms, a fabulous breakfast with home made everything, a cherry orchard in the back yard and gracious knowledgeable hosts. What else can I say. Oh... more

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Paul and Diane at the Mt. Hood Hamlet Inn B&B. We felt as if we were staying with friends. Our room, the Orchard, was huge and comfortable. It was July so we didn't have a chance to use the lovely fireplace in our room, but I can imagine how cozy it... more

or if you like to hike. The rooms are lovely. The view of Mt. Hood fills the window of two of them. Paul has hiked every trail in the area and is a wealth of information. The food is great and the price reasonable. The only downside is that you drive 15 miles for dinner, but we chose it because... more
