Great location in downtown. Front desk staff were very helpful in locating restaurants and a movie theatre. The staff at the lobby entrance were always opening doors and greeting you with a smile and hello. Parking is expensive at $31/day but all hotel lots in the area are about the same. The fitness room is excellent with a variety of... More

We had an upper level waterfront room which was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the overall impression very good. More

Hotel was lovely, location was prime but charging $13 a day for WiFI was a great source of irritation. I will find another hotel for my next visit. Also scanner in the Business Center was non-functioning. These are simple fixes to keep business travelers returning. More

Had a meeting at this hotel and it was great because many of Portland's best restaurants are within easy walking distance. Downtown Porltand is clean, fun and pedestrian friendly. We had one afternoon off and walked to the Art Museum, for something different. More

The Marriott Portland City Center is in a fabulous location. It's walking distance to all the places you need to get to: Pioneer Sq with the Max rail, shops, banks and restaurants; the downtown mall; the food trucks; Brasserie Montmarte for excellent French food and the street cars on 10th. You can also walk to the Waterfront, Pearl District, Portland... More

We were on a west coast trip in both Portland and Vancouver, and in the 2nd leg of the trip, we needed to be pampered. We reserved a king bed with the club lounge access - and that was the best! Staying in downtown Portland may be questioned, but we enjoyed both the hotel, the view, and the service! You... More

An okay hotel, but dated and there are so many gorgeous hotels in Portland, no reason to really stay here. Standard mid 1990s décor, althought large HDTV in the rooms. Free wifi in lobby, but the lobby is tiny. Decent size clean rooms. More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for three nights, and it met all our expectations for a Marriott. If you're a tourist, I would highly recommend it for its location. It is very centrally located, and it was just a seven-minute walk to Voodoo Doughnut, a five-minute walk to the original Powell's City of Books, and a 10-minute... More

Stayed here for a weekend and thought this was a really good choice. As mentioned before, location for downtown is perfect. Dead center of everything. I had requested a room on an upper floor ahead of time and got a great room with fantastic views of the city. The room also seemed larger than a typical Marriott. If you're used... More
