After seeing all the good reviews of this hotel on trip advisor we were quite confident that it would live up to expectations but we were wrong! We got to our room and it was just filthy all over but the worst was the bed spread - it was covered in black marks, blood stains and fag burns! Also our... more

We stayed here the nights of June 30-Jul 1, 2009. Rooms were quite tiny, but at least the bed was comfy and linens were decent. Staff was friendly, but ultimately pretty unresponsive. They did recommend a fine restaurant the first night. BUT... (1) The bathroom was not good. Defective flush valve allowed toilet to gurgle intermittently, and the grouting on... more

I came up from L.A. for the Jonas Brothers Concert with my two daughters. We only stayed for one night, but it was great! FREE on site parking, FREE WIFI, FREE continental breakfast was awesome. The front desk staff gave us good tips for restaurants and was extremely helpful with good directions to and from the OMSI museum. The only... more

Reception person terse and unfriendly. (BTW, be prepared to have them check the credit limit on your card and place a "security" hold over and above the room charge. I'm over 60 and a traveling professional. Not a danger for room destruction.)They advertise high speed internet--720 k/sec is NOT. Turn on the TV and the first offering is porn. I... more

We stayed at this hotel last weekend. We honestly didn't expect much so when we saw the room we were blown away. The rooms are very big, new, nice and clean. We had an extremely comfortable king-size bed! There is complimentary high-speed internet, parking and breakfast. And we didn't pay more than $65/night. Last month we stayed at the Double... more

I've stayed here several times by choice because of the cleanliness, quiet and VERY helpful staff. I have no complaints - only compliments. This time I traveled alone but have been here with my daughter and granddaughter. No extras here, but what you get is perfectly fine. more

We drove from California to Portland, and It was the eve of our Anniversary when we stayed here. We were greeted by an extremely friendly staff and a very nice pair of wine glasses as an anniversary gift. Being our first visit to Portland, we asked directions to Powell's Books. The desk clerk gave us detailed instructions and explained the... more

The room was nice, and the location was a short walk from the convention center. Housekeeping did not do a thorough job of cleaning the room, leaving a half-empty coffee mug without replacing it, not putting in more kleenex. Plus the blanket had an unidentifiable yucky spot on it. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was all prepackaged stuff with... more

I took my son to the AST Dew Tour on the weekend of August 22nd. We had a double queen bed room that was ready when we arrived at 2:30 PM; clean and pleasant. I had made the decision to stay at the Shilo Inn, as it was close to the Rose Quarter - only about a 5 minute walk.... more
