This room would be good for a single night stop-over or quick stay. The showers are a bit dated [squeek when you shift your weight] and not very comfortable surroundings on the whole. That said, if you just need a place for the night this would work fine. The neighborhood is nothing to write home about, bordering on something to... more

Nice Staff, Nice Room, Convenient Location Breakfast Area is small; looks like an afterthought. If you need steak and eggs or biscuits and gravy, that's next door. more

The hotel was nice, the lobby looks clean and at least there you feel the hotel. The front desk was the only award-winning thing about the hotel, the girl was super friendly and we felt welcomed from the first moment. They also have a nice selection of books and a free newspaper. The breakfast is continental, but better than most... more

I spent three nights here - much too long. An overnight would be fine. The rooms are what you would expect at a Four Points. There is nothing here but a parking lot. The adjacent bar and restaurant were below average. There were food specials but nothing to brag about. The location is close to the freeway - good. There... more

I slept like a baby in their bed and the location and rate was hard to beat. The waterfalls along the Columbia river were only 20 minutes away and the rooms were quiet. They include a refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot for a quick snack. No plasma TV yet but there is an indoor pool and an onsite restaurant.... more

Perhaps on of the better hotels in the area, but customer service needs help. We stayed here for business. The staff refused to add our Starwood account number to the hotel room because the room was paid for by my company. Does that make any sense? Business travelers understand the grueling hours and savor the points where they can find... more

Well, it is a Starwood hotel. In my experience, one pretty much never gets a realy bad hotel when one stays with SPG. And this hotel is no exception. It is currently (sept 08) under construction. Apparently they are renovating the entire hotel, inside and out. I stayed there during the 1st week of work. SURPRISE! There is a sign... more

Not a bad place, but when you travel a lot for work you get tired of the beat up mattresses, rugs with stains, the 10 year old TV, etc. The staff was nice and everything in my room worked - I just expect more from a Four Points. This chain is supposed to be a cut above the Days Inn-type... more

The Four Points Sheraton is a great hotel in downtown Portland! They are renovating, however we were not affected by the construction. The rooms are modern and very clean and I am usually very picky! The location is great too- the hotel is located right on the river and you can stroll or run along the walkway. It is an... more
