We stayed at the Lucia for four nights and requested a quiet room, which we got, but it was ridiculously small. We mentioned this at checkout and the manager was sympathetic, and apparently there are larger rooms. Either we were too dumb (or tired) from our trip to ask for one or it didn't occur to the clerk who checked... more

One thing nobody seems to have commented on is the hallways of each floor being filled with Republican oriented photography. You'll find many photos of everyone from Kissinger to Bush to a supposedly cool looking John McCain, but only a solitary harsh image of the Clintons. Search in vain for one of Obama. The Lucia Hotel is located right downtown, very convenient. However, parking is an extra $18/night or $30/night for valet. The queen room is really, really small. Seems like it's overpriced for what you get. more

I love Portland and this is just the perfect spot for a couple of nights. The rooms are well appointed, spotless and chic. The staff is warm, welcoming and ready to get you anything you need! more

This hotel was very nicely decorated, and I was very impressed with the unique style of each of the rooms. The bed was so wonderfully comfortable. We had such a great nights sleep. Wow! Room was clean and modern.. Typhoon resturant was OUTSTANDING! Go get a mango/hot pepper martini at Happy hour 3-6 pm.. Close to art, shopping, restaurants. Everyone at hotel from Parking valet, Front Desk and Typhoon servers went out of their way to make you feel welcome. more

My mother-in-law and I recently stayed at Hotel Lucia in downtown Portland! We needed to be close to OHSU as one of our family members was having a baby. My hotel experience was great overall! The staff was nothing but courteous, our hotel room was clean and quiet and the beds were VERY comfortable. If there is only one thing... more

The hotel is nice.... well decorated. Great location, comfy beds. Downside is VERY small bathrooms... smallest I've ever seen. The big disappointment is I left three dresses in the closet. Called two days later and they only gave me back one.. the one worth $60! They somehow "couldn't find" the other two dresses.... the DVF and Missoni dresses worth $500+... more
