The hotel is very well designed overall and the rooms are comfortable. My only complaint about my room was that the bathroom sink was way too big and blocked half the doorway of the little bathroom. My sister booked the same type/class of room (king bed) and her room had a larger bathroom so she didn't have the same problem... more

Hotel Lucia offers a very sophisticated atmosphere in a very simplistic way. Their staff is attentive and pleasant. The room was very comfortable and the bed was excellent. Every staff member we encountered were friendly and the desk staff was extremely helpful with all questions we had concerning bus routes, restaurants, etc. The location was perfect and we were able to access everything by walking or thought public transportation. This is a wonderful boutique hotel in Portland, Oregon, each room is somewhat unique - I'd stayed there before and liked it very much, but this trip my room was even more to my liking, with dark red walls and a very cozy feel.
