Priceline gave us a deal of $45 a night, which is more than worth it for this hotel. FAR BETTER than the red lion across the street. Our shower broke the first night, and they promptly moved our room. It's a bit run down, but the staff is soooo friendly and helpful, especially when juxtaposed with the terrible and unfriendly... more

Based on the numerous reviews I read on hotels.com about this hotel, most people said it was very basic and clean. So I wasn't expecting many amenities, but I was expecting a clean, neat room, and that is far from what was there. The first room they gave us had a smell, and there was a big yellow spot on... more

I was expecting an older hotel but there is no excuse for peeling wall paper and a depressing lobby. The worst was between the manager with makeup and guyliner and the dirty sock next to the bed from the last tennant . We left it with a note for the maid. more

* Comment: I want to write a feedback for the Inn At The Convention Center- Portland, OR : The only thing convenient about the hotel is the location, however I would never stay there if I was alone. We stayed in the non- smoking area, but it smelled horrible, the whole hotel smells cigarrete. The hotel was very dirty also: the... more

Caveat emptor, if you're a wheelchair user who cannot stand or walk at all. We booked here after reading good-enough reviews and getting a good rate -- AND after my husband called and spoke to the front desk to confirm that the room available was indeed accessible to a wheelchair user. It's an older building, and shows it, but the... more

I was worried, having read previous reviews... but they impressed me. We booked a room for the Rose Festival Parade so that we didn't have to drive up North so early. Somehow we ended up in the best room in the hotel for viewing this year's parade. We didn't have to leave our room and sit in the rain this... more

The hotel was very dirty. I went with a school group and we stayed in many rooms. One room had ants and food crumbs under the bed when we got there. Another room had black hair in the shower and on the floor. There was white powders on one of the floors. Ceilings were low and very un-inviting. The group... more

So this place definitely shows its age. The elevator looks a bit sketchy and you feel like you are in some old movie walking down the oddly lit hallways. However, they did great with what they have. The room was perfectly clean, basic amenities provided such as mini fridge, hair dyrer, shampoo, soap, soda machine on each floor. (Munchies in... more

We needed something within walking distance of food and Colliseum. Could catch the train right to where we needed to go the walking was well within our capabilities. The rooms were very comfortable, the bed was terrific. I found that even the noise that we had did not bother me. Staff was most helpful. more

I attended a conference at the convention center and the motel is in a great location if you're there for the same purpose. However, as other travelers have mentioned, it is very noisy on the side of the motel by the light rail. I had trouble sleeping both nights because of the noise. The room was pretty basic and the... more
