My main impression of The Painted Lady was that the paint was covered with dust. On the plus side it's in a quiet neighborhood close to the Lloyd center and city transit. We travel to Portland often to visit our son and his family. They have a small home, so when we discovered this inn we have never stayed anywhere else. Jody is a wonderful innkeeper who cares about her guests. She provides all the necessities in a comfortable, cozy environment. We have met so many interesting and fun people around her... more

Beautiful place - lovely room, but the owner tacked on extra charges on our credit card that were not on our email confirmation,web reservations, nor on the website. When we brought this to her attention, she just said 'sorry - I thought it was on the web reservations" and would not reverse the charges. It ruined our trip. We went... more
