I just stayed here for an 8-day business trip with 4 colleagues. Overall, I would recommend the hotel with a few footnotes: +: • LOCATION is great, you can walk, jog, bike the river-walk right in front of the hotel, perfect before or at the end of a workday. • If you are staying here around the 4th of July... more

I stayed here over the weekend to see a show at the Keller Auditorium. This is definitely the closest hotel to the theater and I was glad I booked it. The hotel is set in the financial district and the area was very quiet on Saturday and Sunday. The hotel was quite busy but the spacious lobby never felt overwhelmed.... more

The service was amazing, each person I spoke to went out of their way to help me, especially housekeeping and the concierge. The rooms were clean, with plenty of room and everything I needed. And finally, it was quiet, while still in the heart of downtown. Portland itself is amazing, easy to get around with great, free public transportation. more

Not quite up to parr for a Marriott, which I have generally found to be a very good chain. This hotel is on the edge of downtown in an area that's completely quiet past 6 pm. There are also no amenities in the neighbourhood. A few blocks way there was a Subway and a McDonald's, but that's about it. Not... more

I spent 3 nights at the Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront while attending a conference. The location was ideal for seeing the sights of Portland (right across the street from the waterfront), and the staff was always willing to answer questions and help to plan excursions. I would not say that our room was large, but it was very clean and... more

Loved the bed...very clean, white, fluffy bedding that you could just sink in after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the toilettries were great Bath & Body Works products. The location is also great with a lot in walking distance or access to transportation. Parking is expensive, but the Smart Park a few blocks away... more

I recently stayed at the Portland Downtown Waterfront Marriott for a conference being held there. Overall, I enjoyed my stay although there were a few issues. Pros: My room was fairly large, with two big beds. The beds were comfortable and the room itself was quiet even though it was two doors away from the elevators. I did not find... more

My Bestfriend and I were very impressed, everyone was was so nice and made us feel welcomed all the time. Very nice and clean hotel, had a coffee shop, gift shop and restaurant on site, it was great.... more

Having the weekend off we decided to finally visit Portland. We used Priceline (Name your own price) for a downtown hotel and the Marriott accepted our $65. a night bid for two nights. Upon arrival we were given the choice of a one king or two double bed room. We chose the king and got a room on the 4th... more

The location along the waterfront lends itself to walking! Walk along the water, walk everywhere downtown. Easily within reach of many noteworthy restaurants. We parked our car in valet and didn't use it until we left! Easy access to I-5, 99, Eastside, etc. Usual Marriott standards, although our bathroom wasn't as clean as I would prefer - a clump of... more
