The room was adequate - there was a shared women's and men's shower/toilet with a sink in the room. The setting was wonderful with multiple hike options and Union Creek at the back of the main lodge. I would stay again.

If your idea of "roughing it" is staying in a Motel 6, then this place is way too primitive. We found the "resort" to be a rejected CCC camp. We rode our motorcycles down and had a great stay. Theres a general store on site for beer, fire wood, snacks ect. They have tow horse shoe pits, each cabin has a fire pit out front. Overall we had a great stay with plenty to do. Cafe across the street had great food too.

We had a nice experience here. Spending a night with a shower and a bed was nice after a week of camping. The picnic table was nice for writing post cards and making breakfast in the morning.
