A rare find for lodging bargain hunters on the Oregon Coast. For about half the cost of a regular room at the Best Western down the road, at the Salty Seagull you get a large, two-room family suite with full kitchen, two TVs (100 channel cable), and big fluffy towels. The four units in the back are off highway and very quiet. Décor is a dated mélange and there are a few chips and dings here and there. But appliances are new, it’s squeaky clean, and my room in mid-August (with senior discount) was $62, taxes included. more
