The best thing about this hotel was its location overlooking a scenic river. One thing that is always consistent at Holiday Inn Express hotels is the staff. I don't know what it is about Holiday Inn's hiring policy but they are always the nicest most helpful hotel employees. Just about the worst Holiday Inn Express we have stayed in. At check-in, because I’m a ‘platinum member’ we were offered a FREE chocolate/mint wafer, for some reason I was not impressed. The location is excellent, centrally located and all rooms have a view of the Umpqua river. Pets are allowed on the first floor.
