We stayed in the Grand Hotel while on business. The downtown location is convenient to shopping and restaurants, and for me, was within walking distance to Willamette University, where I was attending a conference. I wish we had been able to stay longer to really savor the lovely renovations and atmosphere. Buffet style breakfast was of good quality too.
