Went for a family wedding, which was amazing and one of the most beautiful venues in all of Oregon, but..... In the restaurant, there was this extremely RUDE and PRETENTIOUS manager who walked around "puting on a show" for guests, which mainly consisted of belittling people and spouting useless wine knowledge. His shallow attempt to impress people was completely lost,... more

From the gorgeous handcarved lodge doors and inviting smell of a warm fire when you enter, to the luxurious rooms and amazing views of Suttle Lake, the Lodge at Suttle Lake exceeded all my expectations. Cynthia (I think that was her name) at the front desk accomodated all my requests and had the New Moon Suite perfectly ready when we... more

We arrived about 20 minutes prior to check-in time and were willing to wait if necessary to check in. But the unpleasant young woman at the desk retreated to the office and shut the door on us! When we booked two days earlier we had been assured that there was plenty of availability and we could upgrade if we wished... more

We visited the lodge in Oct. and was totally satisfied. The rooms are spacious and very nice. The breakfasts were totally filling and delicious. We enjoyed the wine at happy hour and used the front porch to set and enjoy the lake. The lodge is a great adult retreat. more

We booked this hotel for Thanksgiving weekend as a get-away for our family of four, including two teenagers. Our room, a loft suite, was extremely comfortable with a queen bed downstairs and two singles with a small sitting area upstairs. Lake view through the trees, fireplace and cute touches such as our own resident teddy bear, a hand-carved checkers board... more

My husband and I spent two nights at The Lodge at Suttle Lake and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Oregon. We stayed in the Rising Sun lodge unit and weren't bothered by any noise from the highway as some of the other reviewers have mentioned. There were cabins near the highway and it could get... more

We stayed inside the lodge and it was amazing! The negative reviews written previously are mostly about the cabins, which we did not stay in. Our lodge room included morning breakfast (delicious and hearty) and afternoon wine and cheese. The room itself was gorgeous, and had lush robes, comfy beds, and an automatic fireplace. I was worried when we first... more

We booked a "Deluxe" lakeside cabin for three days, just for the two of us, although it was pricey. Based on the website description, we expected a private, quiet cabin overlooking the lake. Instead, we found ourselves situated well back from the water, surrounded by gravel parking areas, close to the day use area and restroom, and in an extremely... more

I recently stayed in one of the waterfront cabins. It wasn't quite on the water, as a matter-of-fact, I could hardly see the water through the trees. I had booked this resort because of the pictures and the description and it sounded like a perfect get away from it all kind of place that we were looking for. Our location... more

You find it all in one location! Jason, Sarah and the rest of the team go out of their way to make you feel like you are the only one at the Lodge. The rustic log cabin where I spent hours enjoying my spa treatment was worth the drive but it did not stop there! The food is out of... more
