This B&B is in a gorgeous home located right across the highway from the Pacific Ocean. In fact, their breakfast nook, which is in a loft above the rest of the living area probably boasts a fine view of the ocean. Unfortunately, our view was blocked by thick fog. The inn has a modern architectural style and the walls are covered with very interesting artwork as the owners are involved with the nearby art community. The owners are very pleasant and knowledgeable in both art and wine. Our room, the only one in the main house, was small and was peculiar in that there was no door between the bathroom and the sleeping area. There is also no designated common area for guests, but you are welcome to enjoy the owner's living area. Breakfast was very good, but served a bit late for travelers on the go. While its location across from the beach is a selling point, it can be a drawback. The nearest restaurant area is in Newport, several miles down the road. Newport does have many... more
