Reserved directly and gave credit card info. Received two confirming emails two months in advance.
Property was very hard to find - no signs. Not listed in the current yellow pages. No one had heard of them in the Waldport, OR visitor center.
When we finally found the property (I remembered the street), it was deserted. We called again to no avail. The property was open and we found the rooms dirty and the beds were unmade.
We saw their reservation whiteboard and there were NO reservations for anyone for that night or the next.
We waited another half hour and then left and looked for other accomodations. We finally did get in touch with them, but by that time we were 50 miles away. They admitted that they FORGOT to write down our reservation even after a call and two emails.
Don't count on staying at this property as the same thing may happen to you. We've stayed at hundreds of B&B's and have never had this happen. more
